Barcelona Football Club Stadium. Capable for 110.000 people is 4th largest stadium in the world. In almost every match all sits are taken, this can give you an idea about passion shared by supporters of the red & blue shirt.

Barceloneta district. One of the oldest districts in town. Almost in the beach, is the area where sailors and fishermen used to live in Barcelona in the not so old times. Has a very especial atmosphere and a nice promenade along the old port. Perfect place to have a paella outdoors in any of many restaurants can be found there.

Born Distric. For me, one of the most charming areas in Barcelona. This is part of the medieval city together with Gothic quarter. There we will find Picasso Museum, probably the best collection for his young period. Not far you can enjoy a pearl or gothic period: Santa Maria del Mar church. After that you can walk the narrow streets with trendy shops and small restaurants and tapas bars. Some areas can be driven, some others are pedestrian

Gothic quarter. The Cathedral, in gothic style is an impressive Catholic temple. Has a very beautiful and quiet cloister, highly recommended visit. Call jueu -Jewish quarter- where you can visit the 13th century Synagogue remains. Town hall and Generalitat de Catalunya buildings. We will see Columns of Augustus Temple, the oldest roman remains of Barcelona. This is mainly a pedestrian area.

Contemporary Art Museum of Barcelona (MACBA). Designed by Richard Mayers. A modern building in the middle of an ancient area also deserves a walk around together with Casa de la Caritat.

Wine cellars. One hour away drive of Barcelona in east direction, some cellars provide guided tours for a small price. At the end of tour there's a taste of local wines. See Codorniu and Torres web pages among others. 4 hour 150€

Sitges. One hour away drive of Barcelona in south direction we will find a lovely town where the Mediterranean sea will offer you nice beach and perfect place to have lunch in a sunny terrace next to the sea. 4 hour 150€

Girona. Driving one hour north direction we will find this city of with a interesting old quarter where we will visit ancient buildings belonging to the three cultures: Christian, Jewish and Muslim. 5 hour 175€.
